Walk 9 starts in the centre of Edenbridge, with its pubs and variety of places in which to eat, and travels east towards the pretty villages of Hever and Chiddingstone, following the path of the Eden Valley Walk. If you wish to undertake the walk in sections, there are limited public transport options. Possible solutions might be using two cars, one at the starting point and the other at the proposed finishing point, or using the rail network.
It is about 6.5 miles (10.5 km), takes about 3 hours and can be very muddy in places. There are 3 stiles.
This walk can be combined with walks 8 & 10 to follow the whole route of the Eden Valley Walk to Leigh.
