Walk 5 starts in Swan Lane in the north of the town, near Edenbridge station and the Swan pub, and crosses rolling farmland, goes through a deer park and passes a restored moat, once part of a Saxon manor. There are also plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting at various ponds and a bluebell wood (in spring).
It is about 3.5 miles (5.6 km), takes about 2 hours and there are 5 stiles. If parking in Swan Lane, please do so considerately.
The town centre is about one mile away with its shops, pubs, a variety of places in which to eat and historic buildings (including the Eden Valley Museum).
